Narita City was a short 10 mins ride trip out from Narita Airport where i spent the better part of 5 hrs wandering around. Narita City gave me this sense of melancholy while i walked about the streets. I dont think I can sufficiently describe in words why or how i feel this way but mayhaps it is the very sense of alienation I felt due to not knowing anyone there or being alone in a country where I understand very little of the lingua franca. Yet this place fascinated me to no end with it's quiet streets, quaint shops and above all, the sense of being on the edge of getting lost while enjoying the thrill of finding my way...
